Brooks Estates held a Mother's Day luncheon at the Irene Reader Community Center on Thursday, May 9. Approximately 100 womenβall wearing their favorite hatsβattended the celebration. The theme of the luncheon was "Women Wear Many Hats." Committee members and fellow residents brought in hats to display. Some of the hats were accompanied by a written note sharing their history. Thank you to the Committee members and employees who made this event such a great success!

Our communities are bursting with all kinds of special activities in celebration of National Skilled Nursing Care Week May 12th - May 18th. The 2024 theme is "Radiant Memories", a tribute to the Golden Age of Radio reminiscent of times past when folks tuned in to their radios to be captivated by melodies and favorite songs, or to hear the latest news stories. We hope that you all are enjoying this special week and would like to thank our team members who go out of their way to make this a special week, not only for our residents, but staff as well. Residents of Wesley Village have been very busy! They certainly know how to have a great time out and about and throughout the town! From Cinco de Mayo celebrations to outings of all kindsβbowling, lunches, and, of course, Blue Ribbon ice cream on a hot dayβjust ask a resident what they feel like doing! They will let you know, and we will make it happen! To all UMH Activities staff, you are amazing and are appreciated!
